The Frattalone Scoop - Summer 2003

Greetings to all.

I am happy to announce that we are proceeding with our plans to build a new office and shop facility. The new location will be on the South shores of Black Tern Pond, between Spruce and Rice Street. This project will include the construction of two separate buildings; an office and a maintenance facility. Our office will be twice the size of our current building with several upgrades and enhancements. More conference rooms, a larger lunchroom (better suitable for trainings) and modern dispatch office will allow us to run our business operations more efficiently.

The maintenance building will also be just over twice the size of our current one. The increase in size will allow us to repair more equipment during our down season and in a more adequate time frame. The building will also include separate rooms for lockers and lunch for a more suitable atmosphere. There will be four offices for the shop personnel, as well as a large office area on the second floor for our field superintendents. We are hoping to be moved into both buildings by March of 2004.

I would also like to take this time to announce our new monthly Employee of the Month recognition. Frattalone field superintendents proposed the idea to reward and recognize our outstanding field employees who continually display superior work efforts. It was decided that each month a superintendent is going to nominate one of their employees who is deserved the award. All the nominees' names are put into a hat and one is chosen.

I am happy to announce the winner of the Frattalone Companies, Inc. Employee of the Month is Steve Deyo. Steve has been working here since 1998. He is a graduate of Central Lakes Heavy Equipment College and primarily operates excavators and dozers. Congratulations Steve and thank you for you effort.

As for everyone else, thank you for your continual efforts and dedication in making Frattalone Companies the best in our industry. Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Tony Frattalone
President
